Overview
The Mini Black Box™ (MBB) is ACCI’s distributed energy-management platform under development. Its purpose is to investigate how energy available from multiple environmental, mechanical, thermal, electrical, and infrastructure sources can be captured, conditioned, stored, monitored, and delivered as useful regulated DC power.

Potential inputs
Development concepts include energy associated with heat, airflow, vibration, braking or motion, infrared/light sources, micro-solar, micro-wind, and other technically suitable sources. Actual recoverable energy depends on the site, source, conversion technology, duty cycle, and engineering validation.
Storage and control
The MBB architecture contemplates a managed DC energy reservoir using suitable storage technologies, power electronics, sensing, communications, telemetry, and an intelligent control layer.
Intelligence
AII™ may be used to support monitoring, source prioritization, load management, diagnostics, data logging, and system optimization.
Applications
Potential applications include commercial buildings, hotels, transportation systems, vehicles, industrial sites, infrastructure, remote facilities, and selected backup or auxiliary-power applications.
Development notice
The Mini Black Box™ is in prototype-development planning. Public website content should not claim guaranteed energy savings, output levels, certifications, or commercial availability until validated.
